Re: simply k8
Bit of an update on the old girl
These are some pictures of it at jae
Last weekend I roped Si in to giving me a hand to make a decent solid boot floor so out came the jigsaw. Unfortunutly I didn't take any pictures but it's something I've been meaning to do for a while. Also replaced the battery at the same time mounted it properly and soldered the batter wire joins.
Tonight I fitted my new throttle cable and got rid of the horrible eg one that used to melt and stick due to manifold/turbo temperature
I've also replaced the waste gate as the old one was knackered was
Having a look at how I could move it to avoid contacting the bonnet but I think it's beat to remove a small part of the inner skin of the bonnet and re- raise the bonnet
Also I've ordered some grommets to pop in all the little and not so little wholes in the engine bay so goodbye gaffa tape

Nothing much my bottle jack just made a new boot floor out of NSF instead of the cardboard preten wood you get with the standard one

Re: simply k8
Finally got some grommets to fill all the holes in the engine bay bar one as I can't find oval grommets anywhere
Also fitted some p clips to hold the oil feed pipe for the turbo
And finally ed at e-tech sorted out my turbo downpipe as it didn't look very pretty and didn't flow as well as it could
