Re: My Eunos (Daisy)
Well, she is booked in for 3/4 weeks on saturday!
I'm going to seriously miss her roof down ness ness in this weather we currently have, but never mind.
*She is having a FULL respray.
*She is having the dents, scratches, dings, a crack, hopefully a car crash big dent sorted out, holes filled in from old number plate, sticky number plate taken off, badge hole filled in, possibly (not to sure yet) the radio thingy taken out and filled in.
*She is also having her roof taken off, and replaced with a new one!! One without holes, scratches, sewing thats come apart, cat scratches, its bad fading pooy colour, and the zip will work!!!.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* and if anyone has the same size wheels as me and can lend them to me for 3/4 weeks, i would be MOST greatful! then i can have my wheels done at the same time, refurb and painted in anthracite.
I ALSO need lots done before the MOT but itll have to wait until i get back.
-I need front breaks doing (and calipers painted, to match back oneS)
-New rear shocks put on my car
-Handbreak needs fixing, it doesnt work at all now
-New windscreen wipers
-Rubber boots need fitting at the front
and finally i have a new noise, and i have NO idea what it is, i may get dandycars to check it out, even if it will cost a bomb.

Re: My Eunos (Daisy)
oh and mum is going to help towards the cost of a rollcage, so im Finally getting one!
Re: My Eunos (Daisy)
We spent a good few hours yesterday trying to fix the handbreak, we thought we had it, but we didnt such a shame. As she has to go in for an MOT when she gets back. Ive also decided to get rid of the aerial... actually no, lewis has! lol
and yes, my exhaust sound is SEXY! lol
also lewis says i should remove grill what do you recon?
She is ever so dirty btw, getting to the ''unit/barn'' is a horrible dirty track + lots of flies
Also, im definitely getting a roll cage, EVER so excited!

Finially!! lol.Storm wrote:Oh have they! That's good
The beginning bit hasnt been done though, the worst bit. Yesterday i got stuck and wheel spun out of the track on to the main road. Luckily lewis's car (who was behind me) didnt get covered in stones! lol
Re: My Eunos (Daisy)
keep the grill, adam was saying that they used to get loads of stones through radiators when they dont have a grill mines black, so you don't notice it

may doo mine black
Thankyou
She went in yesterday, it was HORRIBLE leaving her.
I had to then drive an automatic home,
1 - ive never ever driven another car bar mine and the one i learnt in
2 - ive never driven a automatic
3 - ive only been on a motorway once - that was getting there
4 - ive never driven in london before.. lol
I was surprised i did so well, and got on ok
I have been trying to sort out a number plate today, but cant seem to get what i want, so lewis is going to get one made for me
Before i took her in, i gave her one more wax!
Here is my ''new'' car, its definitely made me appreciate mine more. Im forever moaning about mine, and my boyfriend keeps telling me its one the best one he has ever seen and been in (for a standard car) and i believe him now... lol
EDIT - I also have asked for more to be done at the workshop,
new bumper, and moving the fog light. Re spraying the inside parts of the paint work, not just the outside, (so the inner door bits). Also the black rubber seals, around the door. And possible the gear stick leather bit

Re: My Eunos (Daisy)
i cant beleive your mum is helping you out buy a roll cage, didnt she give you the whole "you shouldnt be driving fast enough to roll" speach.
my mum thought i was being safe when i fitted my roll cage and fire extinguisher on it, didnt have the heart to tell her it was a nitrous tank.
car looks lovely by the way though. i think mazda's run 4x100 so if you need to borrow some wheels i got a few sets as thats bimmer fitment. they are low offset so they might hang out the arch's a bit. would look good though.
these bad boys will be refurbed by the end of next week and have tires hopefully if you desperatly need to borrow some

Re: My Eunos (Daisy)
oo thankyou
no my mum said i should of had a roll cage when i brought it, she hates the fact that my head is so exposed... so i have no idea why she hasn't brought me one already hehe ! So i did the whole guilt trip + the fact that my brother may get hurt in my car, as he loves the roof off action, AND the fact its my birthday soon!
