Nope just gave them a clean, on an amazing plus note dropped her off for an MOT this morning, and had the master tech come out and ask if it were mine, I replied and he dissapreard, 5 mins later came out with a set of brand new tar ox drilled and grooves discs and said they were gonna be thrown and If I wanted them I could have them! Dealer service FTW

Re: My RX7
Seeing as I'm now keeping the rx7 i thought id update this a bit.
First up, the result of boredom
laid out loads of old stickers ive gathered over the years and wrapped my stereo surround and the din blank to add a bit of colour to my dull 90's interior.
some general tidying, t-cut my side lights, before/after..
some randoms of my injector issue, and the state of the damage done to the plugs, and then cleaned up.
thats all for now, runs sweet as a jewish nut and pulls like a train, there are few bits in the pipe line, but ive got to wait till the summer to sort them, so i know where i am job wise.

Re: My RX7
Right small update.
i Spent most of my day getting the car MOT'd....It passed, and i finally got the dodgy horn sorted too
I also realised that its getting awfully close to awesome fest and there was some things i wanted to do to the car before then.
sooo i started the (less painful than i thought) task of reverse mounting my BBS wheels
I purchased a polishing kit from t'interweb to get my lips back to a mirror shine. While im waiting for this kit to turn up I started on my first wheel (can only do one at a time due to having no spare alloys anymore ).
some pics:
I believe this is what you kids call hellaflush....non?
I had to remove about 25/30 of the most fiddly little bolts, but it was remarkably easy even on my own
Random shot
Got the face off and gave it a clean, the brake dust came off so easy, i also keep forgetting how light these wheels are!
Then a trial fitment of the reverse mounting...
And the final two to show the difference it makes
Standard dish/offset
reverse mount dish/offset
enjoy, c+c welcome

Re: My RX7
A quick explanation for those of you who have no idea what im talking about.
Reverse mounting is literally taking the front mounted face on a two piece wheel and mounting it from behind ( ) this moves the offset by 13mm producing more poke and more dish = win win situation!
just need to get the barrel all polished up and it will e awesome, the taking apart only took an hour or so, it'll be the polishing that will take a while hence the 2 month headstart till awesome fest. this also saves me buying spacers, still need new tyres though
Best of all its prefectly safe as BBS do it from factory for different offsets
