Cool. I chopped a laguna splitter up for mine but went with body coloured OEM one in the end, looked much better.

Re: Finally some pictures of my 5
there should be some people there with a decent bit of knowledge so you may be able to get some advice on how to fix it. What are the issues you've got???
Re: Finally some pictures of my 5
overheating, iv taken out the thermostat, been advised that its more than likely not the water pump (have to take the timing belt off to change the waterpump so i wont be doing that) the rad is coming off tomorrow and being tested in grantham or peterborough and maybe a new one if thats the problem. apart from that im stumped.

Re: Finally some pictures of my 5
did it have water in it?? (ie. no leaks)
If the engine is hot, does the rad feel hot??

Re: Finally some pictures of my 5
ye when its overheating all the water from the rad is going to the overflow tank, the rad is out and being tested in a little bit and hopefully they will say just needs cleaning or a new rad. and there is one little part of the rad that i could put my hand on, was just luke warm.

Re: Finally some pictures of my 5
if you have a pressure washer, just use it from a big bucket/wheely bin etc. as they will pull the water from it.
you can still use a hose pipe, just as long as its not connected to the mains ;-)
job done.
