Re: My W ank........el
It's only about 3deg over normal traffic temp. Standard temp gauge doesn't move.
Went for a stock mounted Japspeed one.

Re: My W ank........el
Bit of an update is i on the cards i think.
Got the rad in the standard posistion with A LOT of modification. Coupled with some manual fan switches (Medium/ high speed) mounted in my vanity box the highest temp i've seen since is 75 :D:D
I addressed the chav tinted sidelights with nail varnish remover and t-cut, and removed the front plate.
Here's some recent pics

Re: My W ank........el
What did you have to do to the rad to get it in? How long did it take in the end?

Re: My W ank........el
If im honest, yeah, it was a proper nightmare.
Everything above the rad had to be modified. the fans, the fuse box, the air con condenser the ducting, that flat bit of trim thing at the front, the battery tray, and probably more i cant think of.
You need to allow half a day to do it, but it's well well worth it. It's running 15 degrees cooler now

Re: My W ank........el
I've heard most aftermarket units are a rubbish fitment I'm just trying to figure out where I'm going with mine so I can decide wether I want a standard mounted one.

The standard one was in the standard posistion (shock horror)
When i fitted the new one i also wanted it in the standard posistion, but it took a lot of work
