Re: purple hawaii ej9
erm you would have to have a metal pole ie rollcage put in and put around that. or u can put them through the back seats in the middle where it splits but then n01 can sit in the back. its a decision or u can bolt them directly to the floor and 1 more thing are the seats fixed back or not

Re: purple hawaii ej9
yeah it's easy mate as mentioned!
if your going for the recaro's (WHICH YOU SHOULD ) I have them and harness and can still get people in the back of the teg, if you go for fixed though, you wont be able to get in your back seat,
maybe get 3 point harness, they go to the normal a and b pillar and 1 point goes to the rear seat belt point...its a piece of cake tbh!

Re: purple hawaii ej9
maybe look at getting a brace bar that goes between the top seat belt points on your front seats, pretty sure they do them for civics, effectively like a strutbrace. Then wrap the harnesses round that
Re: purple hawaii ej9
i got a rear strut brace but if for the lower behind the seeats u mayb able to run them harnesses thru the seats and onto that

I have to say, they are possibly the most dangerous brace you could ever have in your car, no FIA approval, all made by people as a fad, and if you happen to roll you have a piece of tubular steal right by you and your passengers head, sorry thats just my opinion!
or you could buy ek3_clover_greens cage which most likely has an fia approval and can have a seat belt mounted to it, but you need to think seriously about where you mount the harness points, as manufacturers have specific places where they put the belts which will be able to withstand forces from certain angles if you have an accident!
sorry lewis i'm quite passionate about those stupid braces! the miracle X-bar on the other hand is the sh!t
Re: purple hawaii ej9
yeah the cage i found out is for an eg and my mate has got 1 of those x-braces for sale atm actually and if i was u thats how i wud set mine out ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^its looks mint complicated but serious bolt it where they are bolted above but wen m.o.t comes round i would take them out unless there in a proper place where its suitable

id love to be able to afford a set of recaro's but cant im still a lil confused what do you mean by it goes to the a pillar?? and how can people be in the back if its across the back seat???
Re: purple hawaii ej9
if u want bucket seats no1 can get in the back where as if u have recliners then people can get in the back i think there is a waay of bolting the harnesses to the floor underneath the front seat am not sure put it in google you might find something or go on civiclif.net they r the tits 4 tha shizz

Re: purple hawaii ej9
are civic jordon seats bucket style at all of any better than my stock seats bcause some one is sellin front and rear jordon seats for £150
Re: purple hawaii ej9
they are different from stock there leather and got yellow centres but most of them the drivers side is cracked on the yellow leather and is expensive to replace but they are very nice bits of kit you could probably have the yellow taken out and replaced in a different colour to make em 1 of a kind or u cud get the integra type r seats in there what you do is take ur rear sits out undo the staples take the cover off and do the same with the integra rear seats and swap theres a how to do it on civiklife sumwhere saw it other month it looks the tits mate ill c if i can find the link

Re: purple hawaii ej9
Is there any point in carbon on a b16? not really.. they're all slow.
Carbon in my opinion is all about the look. It's only really functional on race cars or carbon bodied super cars.
