Re: Civ Coop
Race tech turbo kit! Nice, what engine is in this b16 or 18 or a k? What sort of power you gonna be aiming for? Good plans by the way

Re: Civ Coop
Its only a D16 Non V-Tec, but its a nice solid base for a turbo conversion.
I guess around the 220bhp mark, the kit is capable for 280bhp but I don't want to be putting nearly 200% more power in a car that will have standard internals.

Re: Civ Coop
Oh yeah forgot the mighty d series they are better for boost applications anyways. 220bhp will be pretty awesome!

Re: Civ Coop
Cheers Leroi!
I have to say it is actually an impressive engine, I really fancy sourcing some nice lumpy fast road cams before I turbo it. The yanks love a good old Turbo'd D lump so might have to import some stuff for it...

I yes the yanks love a D series they get some silly power figures from them too! I personally would save the money on the cam if your not going to forge it

Re: Civ Coop
I suppose your right, lumpy idol would be cool though! Ha
I forgot to add on the first post, it also has a genuine EK9 grille which you can see in the pictures.
Went to fit the VTI lip today, and the bastard thing has been cut down so doesn't meet the edges! That was a day wasted spraying that up...

Re: Civ Coop
I raised it up on the stands to lower the back a bit more today, but the floor was sooo hot it couldn't lay on it! HaHa
I was going to fit the exhaust today, but the downpipe was a smaller pipe then it already had on as standard!
Not having much luck with the mods on the Civic at the moment, might turn my modding to the DT125R for a little bit.
