Hello everyone, i thought you would like to know about the new project i am about to start with my mate ben

project 2002 turbo Photo-2422

this is the car as we bought it.

The car is a race preppes 1972 Bmw 2002 tii.

it has all new suspension and a full FIA roll cage and severla other bits and bobs race related.

the bonnet and boot are rusted to buggery so ben has ordered the following

fibreglass bonnet
fibreglass boot
group 2 race arch kit
group 2 front splitter

we will be getting the cars weight down to around 850 kg and running the standard engine then we will be sourcing a nissan 200 sx s 14 sr20det engine for a decent conversion

for that we will need

engine
gearbox
rear diff
prop shaft
ECU and related elctrics
and any bits you guys suggest before installing

we are looking for around 300 bhp which equates to about 350bhp per ton.

project will start once we move into the new flat and i will keep people updated

thanks for looking

all depends if it becomes road legal or not really, its really going to be set up for the track so long distance road trips might be a little painfull
