My 1958 Splity
I bought it early this year. Its a 1958 RHD splitscreen 11 window camper.
This is what it looked like when i first got it:
It was not used for 2 years and before it was put into storage it had a full respray. Gloss black at the front and satin black at the rear also had slight flames down the side and on the roof which were s**t! (well not 2 my taste)
So:
Out came the D A sander and the wet and dry. Then decided 2 spray it with rattle cans but wasnt that good a finish on the roof.
Still gloss black at the front and rattle cans no good, decided 2 respray it with a compressor and some help from my mates. But the only place i had 2 do it was my back garden.
We resprayed it matt black
Now all i had 2 do was fit back all the windows, headlights and trim.
Getting there:
As it stands now. Also i lowered it a little more
Still got more plans 4 it !!!!!!!!!!!!
