Howdy
Hello my name is Tom and im from Stansted, Essex. I own and run a rolling road tuning company called TCS Performance. I met a few of you guys at a dyno day i was hosting the other week. Forgive me as im crap with names but i do know they were driving these beasts:
As for my fleet me daily is just my kangoo van:
My car for pissing about in is my trusty old Porsche 944. Not the fasting thing on 4 wheels no, but ive just finished building an inlet manifold for it to take bodies and i have an Emerald ECU sat waiting for me to install on it so i should be able to liven it up a bit.
Between me and my Dad we have 3 Skyline GTR's. 2 R32's and 1 R33. I dont have any pics of the R33 as they are on my laptop and thats at work. So expect them tomorrow
I also have a Series 1 Escort RST but thats in a million bits waiting for me to put it back togther after a respray and a 1963 Jaguar Mk2.
I dont have any pics of either again as they are on the toplap.
A couple of things i was told might be of interest to you are a couple of types of event im able to organise.
Firstly i own a house out at the nurburgring. Its 12 KM from the track and is 5 bedroom and can comfortably sleep 12.
Im toying with the idea of running some pocket friendly tours to the ring this year but im gonna wait and see what interest i get. Even if it doesnt get off the ground i go myself at least 10 times a year so people are always welcome to tag along. I did a sorta dry run in november 2009 and it all went well. Im thinking of more of a kinda, not too serious, either i cook dinner or we all go out kinda thing, keeps it cheap and makes for good fun.
Its my 26th year of the Ring this year and in that time a wealth of contacts and knowledge of both that area and surrounding towns has been built. For instance i can show where there is a great funfair at night about 20KM away.
Anyway im babbling.
Secondly is that a very good friend of mine Owns/Runs ATC driver training at North Weald Airfield. If youve ever been up there and seen the skid cars there, thats him
Between me and him we can sort out one of the airfields for the day which for you drifting types i could imagine is very appealing. I can also load up my rolling road and bring it along and in the past we have managed to hold things where we set up a track and the dyno and for £50-60 a head you get the track and the dyno for your unlimited use!
Again im not gonna count my chickens but i figured it may be of interest to you guys.
Anyway after typing what could be the longest welcome post ever im gonna go make myself a coffee.
Looking forward to chatting!
TOM.

Re: Howdy
welcome along mate, mine was the grey s13. U've done very well for yourself there mate. Was very impressed with the company as a whole, very friendly and approachable.
I'm definately interested in the drift days but still not found the cause of my rediculous power curve lol

Re: Howdy
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Glad i left a good impression with you.
IanJ, sorry we only have a 2wd dyno. There are some circumstances where we can get round this, for instance i do a lot of power runs for TR Racing and they are skyline based. They usually drop the front prop off and ive run a GT4 with the prop off running front wheel drive so depending on what car you have we might be able to help you.
Also thanks for your comments on the house, she is gorgous yes though very very cold at the moment. I went out there for xmas and it was -15 brrrr
If anyone is thinking of buying property then buy there. I took full advantage of the property price crash and its all going cheap!!

Re: Howdy
Hi liam, thanks for the warm welcome. Yes we work with most of the aftermarket stand-alone and piggy back ECU's. We also offer OBD flash mapping for most european petrol and diesel cars.
What car is it you have?
