my beetle Empty my beetle

thought i would share my beetle on here.

i brought it nearly 6 years ago as a totally stock 1300 bug. im the 3rd owner and its solid as a rock underneath.

current specs are -

front suspension -

front axle narrowed 4"
adjusters fitted
tie rods flipped upside down for clearance
2.5" dropped spindles
extra travel ball joints
spax adjustable super short shocks
front section of chassis raised by 2"

rear-

dropped around 5 splines
short shocks
springplates notched for clearance
z bar removed
engine and box rasied up 3" and forward 10mm to correct rear toe in and reduce camber
shift rod relocated on top of tunnel due to raise
handbrake also moved

engine is now a 1641cc twin port
progressive webber carb
009 dizzy
uprated oil pump
modified empi header
home made rear box hidden under rear valence

wheels are stock 15"b steels with 135 - 80 -15 tyres
rears are genuine vw 5.5j steels with 185-60-15 tyres

thanks, its alot of work getting it this low and still drivable! next on the list is to cut out the rear half of the floorpans and raise them up to sit flush.
