i forgot to mention that ive owned my s13 for bout three years now and only decided to do the engine conversion because the ca18 engine blew up. its had alot of work done on it i.e the normal welding that most s13's suffer from but a mate did that for me so i wasnt to worried and all mechanical work ive done or im doining myself to keep costs down. i intended it to be a project car but it only cost me £300 when i brought it so i cant complain. and im trying to build this one on a low budget. ive only ever been to watch drifting things like bdc or jdm allstars ive not been to a odc event yet but i no a couple of people that compete in odc. ive also only been a passenger in a drift car so im hoping to learn to drift and then get as much seat time as poss then who knows. cheers again everyone for the warm welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you will fit right in, we all tend to do our own cars to keep costs down and we help others out too Smile

sounds good guys im always happy to lend a hand. been on verious other forums over the years and as soon as you mention your on a tight budget all you get is you cant do that on a budget. which is why im doing this build to prove that yes you can. and my last two cars where built on a budget. im the guy thats always in overalls rather than a suit lol

Yeah I'm pretty bored of 'you obviously don't know what your doing' blah blah blah, a lot of forums are crap, you'll pretty much get support whatever you do here mate, unless it looks like its been build for redline cover circa 1999 ;D
