Post by howies5 on Tue Jan 24, 2012 12:08 pm

Well I've bought an Fto to to replace my ej9 daily. It's from a ftooc club member and has been very well looked after.

Mods are

New shocks and Apex springs
Poly bushed
Tein adjustable top mounts
Cusco front and rear upper strut braces
17" Enkei Evo wheels with 235/40 rubber
911 turbo (rear) 4 pot calipers on the front with Evo discs
ITG air filter
Stainless exhaust and decat
Dressed up dials, gauges, LEDs, backgrounds etc

Some pics

Ha... Hello mate.

And I thought I was the only one lurking around here with an FTO (matt2107)

:-D

You already know what I think about Patt's old car ;-)

If he'd have been ready to sell about 8 months earlier it'd be parked on my drive and not yours!

It had anti squeal shims but they dont do that much really. Same story with my brembos on my 20vt fiat coupe. Pretty uncurable. Copper greased the poo out of everything which solved my mx5 and civic squeaking issues, but not in this instance.

My gf is now a midlands events organiser for the FTO OC so we'll be at most shows this year.

First one is Rising Sun in Lincoln... can't wait for that... drunken dodgems :-D

It's very different to the Blueflame twin that was on there before. It's really loud and shakes the ground lol.
