After much confusion and a few set backs to the plans i am all better now and finaly got an mx5
Spec:

completely standard engine and chassis wise but a few red interior bits and bobs like gear knob and handbrake gaitors.

Re: My Eunos
Depends on budget mate. By all accounts, those racelands cheap coilies have proved to be good. Not special but they lower the car and dampening seems to even work as well apparentley!
If you are talking 500 quid mate get some BC coilovers.
Mine's only on Eibach springs bud. I'm going for some BC's.

Re: My Eunos
I would say you should go for them if you need some lowness quick. If you want some really decent performance then spend higher.

Re: My Eunos
nice work bud, yeah if u want budget get the racelands, they're fairly good, only thing is to get it as low as mine u have to take the helper springs out and there isnt much travel in the suspension - i'm gonna be raising it up a tiny bit because i dont want to destroy the bump stops lol, but tbf they do the trick for the price!
Re: My Eunos
I actually drove it before he did lol. No skids or cement mixers involved tho, thank you Ian
Re: My Eunos
yeah ill bring it up there staurday probly coz i need to do an oil change.
jack do you still have the shocks and springhs you had b4 your coilies?
Do people think it mite be worth waitin a bit longer and gettin decent ones or are the raceland ones or jack good enough?

Re: My Eunos
i'm good enough but if u can afford it get better ones mate i only got these because of the price if i'd had more money i'd have gone for some gaz's or something, you can pick up some pretty good ones for about 400 or look on the forums for some 2nd hand ones
And yeah i still have the originals they are GAB and still have billie springs lol

Re: My Eunos
well i cant really afford more than the racelands.
ive jus been looking at lowering springs coz i dont want it mega low i jus want the wheels to fit nicely in the arches and for it to handle a bit better.
ive found a set of FK 35mm springs for £60 delivered.

mines lowerd like 20mm ish.. and mine could do (if i wanted to .. but i dont) just a little bit lower... so 35mm would look cool imo.
Re: My Eunos
yeah i rekon it would be about rite and £60 if they arent low enuf jus sell them and get lower ones or coilies lol

Re: My Eunos
the only problem is u still end up with a bit of rake (the back is noticeably higher than the front) thats what put me off and i already technically had lowering springs and shocks
Re: My Eunos
thats the one thing that annoys me on mine is the back end sits higher lower it 80 mil plus oli haha
